On Feb. 4, amid engine issues for a United 777, two other United aircraft "high fived" in Newark (LGA). The aircraft involved, a 25 year-old Boeing 757-200 struck a 2.5 year-old Boeing 787-9 as it was under tow. The 787 had arrived from Johannesburg, South Africa (JNB) and was being moved when it contacted the 757, which was sitting at its gate. Passengers were allocated different aircraft for both flights, and the extent of the damages is currently unknown.
