Textron announced on Jan. 25 that it saw a jump in deliveries, profit, and revenue in Q4 for 2022 vs Q4 2021. The Citation series saw an increase in deliveries, up to 52 from 46. Textron's turboprops (King Air, Caravan, & Courier) deliveries increased as well, up to 47 from 43. Textron as a whole saw a $1.6 billion revenue-earned Q4, up $223 million vs 2021, with profit jumping from $137 million to $169 million. Backlogged orders, however, were up to $6.4 billion at the end of 2022, a $4.1 billion increase vs. 2021.
