Elvis's Lockheed JetStar Sells At Auction For $260,000

The aircraft sold on Jan. 8 in Florida at the Mecum auction on what would've been Elvis's 88th birthday. The JetStar, still parked in the desert, sold in 2017 for $430,000. Elvis bought the jet for $840,000 ($4.4 million today) in 1976. The velvet-red interior is still in good shape for the new owner though!
