On Mar. 14, Delta flight DAL183 departed Rome (FCO) and was enroute to New York (JFK) when the flight declared an emergency over France. The flight entered a hold off the coast of the U.K. presumably to jettison fuel prior to landing. The flight was operating on a Boeing 767-300ER and was met by emergency vehicles at London-Heathrow (LHR.) Early reports say the cause for the diversion was an "engine issue."
