On Jan. 18, a Cessna Stationair T206H was stolen in Argentina. The plane allegedly belonged to a flying club in the Chaco province. The stolen 206 departed and crashed shortly after its theft, killing 5 onboard. Eyewitness reports claim the aircraft impacted the ground and caught fire, with another report saying one passenger was ejected upon impact. The aircraft is believed to have ran out of fuel. The 206 was built in 2018 and was estimated to be worth $1.5 million. At the crash site, a satellite phone and a pistol were found, and no motive has been announced yet.
