After 4 years of development, Bose has unveiled its new A30 aviation headset. The new headset features a lighter design and less clamping force vs the A20s, and incorporates a digital active noise reduction (ANR) feature similar to the ProFlight 2's. The A30 is FAA TSO approved. Bose claims that the two AA batteries that power the ANR can last up to 45 hours before needing to be charged/replaced. The A20's were in production for 13 years prior to the A30 release.
